Executive Culinary Artist, Oji Jaja honed his skills at one of the world’s foremost luxury hotel chains, The Ritz Carlton, both in Jamaica and the United States. He spent a total of six (6) years with The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company where he was trained by some of the world’s best food and beverage professionals. His earlier training began at the Runaway Bay HEART Academy in Jamaica and then later at Johnson & Wales University in Florida. His slogan, “where love, passion and skill work together to create a masterpiece”, describes the path he has set for himself to revolutionize the culinary landscape. “Establishing Ashebre has been the most rewarding experience to date, and it pleases me to know that I am putting out great food that is appreciated and loved by others.”

  • Now that the wedding is behind us, my opinion of Ashebre has only gone up.The food was amazing. So much so that people are STILL raving about the lobster pasta, pan seared snapper and blackened chicken! Every last detail was taken care of and my high expectations were exceeded. The presentation was beautiful, staff professional and courteous, and Oji really cares for his customers, often going above and beyond to make sure they are happy. For those of you that have already chosen Ashebre for your upcoming event, you are going to be very pleased and have a wonderful experience to look forward to.   • Utterly AMAZING!! I can't even fully find the words to describe how amazing Ashebre is. They came to us last minute and worked assiduously to ensure that our wedding was a success. They went above and beyond to ensure that food service for our 200 person wedding went smoothly, from working through the menu with us, to doing site visits to ensure that they could provide us with the type of service we wanted. Talk about thorough! We had scrumptious menu which included dishes like - peppercorn crusted flank steak with red wine au jus, scotch bonnet thyme snapper spring roll (are you drooling yet?), and a lobster penne pasta w/ pesto cream that my guests are still talking about weeks later. The food was not only delicious, it was gorgeous! I'm incr! edibly impressed by their attention to detail. Their professionalism is unmatched. The staff is efficient, polite, friendly and might I add also very well dressed! I would most definitely recommend!

  • Words can not express the total experience working with the Ashebre catering services. From the very first cal,l to the follow up after the event everything was seamless. The professionalism with which everything was handled was second to none! I am generally pretty easy going and therefor committing to menus and having too many options might not be the best for me. I was guided though the options with such clarity and ease and even special little things were done to tailor to my taste to already established menu items. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! but everybody knows that, what should be commended however was the absolute perfection with which the staff executed the cooking stations, serving and just being wonderful hosts: I did not bank on that at all! By the end I knew everyones names and they held my event together so nicely. I would recommend your services again and again.... THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! until the next event!
